Baked Eggs Alfredo

Name: Baked Eggs Alfredo
Yield: 2
Ingredients: - 1 packet Alfredo sauce mix (I used @mccormickspice creamy garlic alfredo!); - 1 ½ cups whole milk; - 3 tbsp. butter; - 4-5 large eggs; - Chives, lemon zest & chili oil (optional toppings); - Bread of choice, toasted

Serves 2

While you could totally use a homemade alfredo or jarred alfredo sauce, I opted for these little sauce packets because they’re so easy to have on hand for a quick sauce!

Instructions

1. Pour milk into a medium skillet and heat gently over low-medium heat for about 2 minutes, just until the milk is slightly warm.
2. Add sauce mix packet and whisk until well combined. Next, add butter and mix again until butter is melted and well combined.
3. Simmer sauce, stirring constantly, for about 5-7 minutes, until sauce thickens to coat the back of a spoon.
4. Crack eggs into sauce around the pan, spread apart from each other. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook until the whites of the eggs are set, about 5 minutes.
5. Add desired toppings such as chives, lemon zest and chili oil for some fresh flavors.
6. Enjoy! Best served on top of toasted bread of choice.
