Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Pour whole peeled tomatoes in a mixing bowl. Chop up into small pieces using kitchen shears or your hands.
3. Heat a rimmed pan on medium-high heat. Add olive oil, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, water, and whole packet of McCormick Spaghetti Sauce mix. Stir well to combine.
4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer sauce for 10 minutes, or until sauce thickens.
5. Create 5-6 divots in sauce and crack an egg in each divot. Bake shakshuka until whites of the egg are set, about 10-12 minutes.
6. Add optional toppings & enjoy! Best served with bread 🍞
